Dress-Zara; Cardigan - Zara; Tights - Calvin Klein; Boots - Clarks
Belt - thrifted ; Bib Necklace - from Sopia Accesories
I wore this outfit last Friday night on an all-girls night-out. We ate at this newly renovated Italian resto in our borough and was quite surprised by the interiors. Later on, while paying the bill, we found out that the place also increased their prices. Oh well, got to pay for those adorable chandelier.
Last Christmas, I was looking for a great gift for my two girlfriends and stumbled upon Sopia Accesories on Facebook. I just couldn't resist this intricate piece and ended up buying one for myself as well. I am sure this necklace will get a lot of mileage in spring and summer. I am planning to wear it on my friend's wedding party this June.
Perhaps you'd like to buy a flower? But I could never sell. If you would like to borrow Until the daffodil

Year of the Rabbit
White satin blouse - Ann Taylor; Shorts - Zara; Cardigan - Zara; Boots - Clarks
I wore this outfit during the Chinese New Year parade at Flushing, Queens. It was an amazing parade in that aside from the Chinese parade participants, a lot of Koreans also participated. Maybe I should ask a Korean if they also celebrate their New Year on the same date as the Chinese. Koreans, do you hear me?
Hubby and I are only starting to explore the "real Chinatown" which is Flushing. Canal Street you are an impostor. It bothers me that the people there talk to me in Mandarin and I could just smile or nudge my husband to reply for me (hubby can speak Mandarin). So, just over the weekend, I decided to order the Rossetta Stone Mandarin. I just hope that before I start residency in July, I can converse in basic Mandarin. I know I wouldn't have time for anything by that time.

On the Other End
black dress- Ann Taylor; inner long-sleeved top- JC Penney; gray cardigan -thrifted; boots- Clarks; belt - thrifted
It is hard to be on the other end of the stethoscope.
I wore this to my doctor's appointment. My appointment was at 11 am and was on NPO for 6 hours prior to my scan. Cranky afterwards because of hunger and the crappy receptionist. Turned out that my results was what we (hubby and I) expected it to be.

Hello There
Hello! I am Abbie and I just started this thing. I have been admiring blogs for so long now and never had the courage to start one. And, since it is a brand new year, might as well start the year right! So here I am.
Reasons for starting this blog:
1. I realized that I am always on the look-out for new stuff and there's a lot in my closet that I am not using. Hopefully, will be able to utilize all (ok maybe not all, but most) I have and lessen the compulsion to shop.
2. I want to document what I am wearing and learn how to dress for my body type.
